76,000 people saw it, so it's real.
Pretty sure we'd know.
Welcome to Holy Nonsense, where we laugh at religious absurdity!
If you ever doubt the resurrection of Jesus, just know that Christians will be SO QUICK to tell you that 500 people witnessed it happen.
Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:6 that “more than five hundred brothers at one time” saw Jesus come back to life.
The witnesses are never named.
It’s just one dude one time claiming one thing.
What kind of mental gymnastics is this, TRT Mommy?
I’m trying to dissect her sentence.
If 500+ people didn’t see something happen, we’d know? That makes no sense.
Her stance is that just because someone wrote something that’s hard to believe, it has to be true?
They’ve got to raise their standard of evidence.
If I went to TRT Mommy right now and said that 500 people just saw Vishnu glide across the sky, would she believe me?
She wouldn’t believe me, even if I had the 500 people with me, and she could talk to them, let alone if I said I couldn’t tell her who saw Vishnu.
I do this to make people laugh, to process religious trauma, and to remind us all we’re not alone in this Christian nationalist hellscape.
If that’s worth a few bucks a month to you, I’d be honored.
$5/month or $50/year → become a supporter
Remember: you don’t need a god to be good.
Until next time!
Kevin
