Atheist, Vegan, & Crossfitter walk into a bar...
Papa Coleman wasn’t impressed.
Welcome to Holy Nonsense, where we laugh at religious absurdity!
Story time!
I like to post silly memes online. They’re not always serious. Hell, they’re not always biblically accurate.
My whole point is that the Bible isn’t something that should be taken literally or seriously anyway.
I posted this on Threads, and, of course, Papa Coleman had to use the tired old reply:
They loooooove this one.
Funny enough, I had just posted this meme on Instagram the day before:
I walked past this dude on my way to the Patriots/Titans game in Nashville last year.
Do you ever see atheists standing on a bench with signs and a microphone, spreading their unbelief to anyone and everyone walking by?
No. You don’t.
Papa Coleman wasn’t impressed.
It doesn’t surprise me when Evangelicals miss the point.
Jesus Unfollower wouldn’t exist if evangelical Christians didn’t constantly flood social media and the world with their desire to convert us all.
Interactions like this reaffirm the need for accounts like mine to exist.
The condescension. The telling me why I post.
A lot of what I do is laughing at my former self. I used to believe all of it.
But, moreso: even a blind person could see the dangers posed by the Evangelical right. Pushback isn’t denigration.
I’ve partnered with the American Humanist Association. The AHA defends real freedoms--not imagined persecution--in the courts, in Congress, and in communities across the country. They fight for policies rooted in reality, create support systems where religion once stood, and give people the tools to organize. Supporting the AHA helps foster critical thinking and pushes back against theocratic power—without needing a church to do it.
Become a member for just $1 and fight for secular government, LGBTQ+ rights, and policies rooted in evidence, not ancient books. You also get access to their thriving 1,800-member Discord community where isolated nonbelievers—especially in rural or religiously hostile areas—can finally feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger.

Remember: you don’t need a god to be good.
Until next time!

What a colossal moron. I dealt with a troll earlier this morning whose only retort was telling me to “get back in the kitchen where I belong”.
Does he know that nicknames aren’t proper names? Grammar genius that he is and all…
