What world is Dan Rastatter living in?

What world is Dan Rastatter living in?
I think Dan’s comment says a lot about religion.
Is the only reason he’s not doing those things because he thinks he’ll face afterlife punishment if he does?
My take would be this:
Christians might actually be the ones getting assurances.
Example: Jeffrey Dahmer. He murdered and ate people, yet he (and many others) think that he’s Heaven-bound because he repented and became a Christian while in prison.
If every sin they commit can be forgiven, it seems like they’re the ones who can literally get away with murder in the grand scheme of things.
80% of Evangelicals voted for Donald Trump, and a huge portion of them continue to support him, no matter what.
Again: EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS SUPPORT THIS MAN:

Interesting - so Dan apparently thinks that it is only the threat of post-death consequences (hell) that prevents people from committing crimes. It doesn't occur to him that rational people would simply choose not to "rob, rape, and molest children."
It’s people like Dan that made me decide to deactivate my Facebook account for a while. I’d like to say I have the patience but I just don’t.
