You’ve probably heard Christians say something like “Everyone has faith. You have faith that the chair you’re sitting in will hold you.”
It’s such a strange comparison.
Obviously we’ve sat in chairs before.
We can see chairs.
We can inspect chairs.
Well, Lala and Maria had something similar to comment on one of my posts:
Well, let’s see: I’ve woken up thousands of consecutive days.
Is that faith? Or is it just the norm?
Now, if I believed that I would DIE in my sleep instead of waking up tomorrow, I think maybe that would be faith.

I think that they get so upset that people speak negatively about their religion that they just see red and all logic goes out the window.
I do this to make people laugh, to process religious trauma, and to remind us all we’re not alone in this Christian nationalist hellscape.
