What’s up, Unfollowers??

Welcome to Holy Nonsense, where we laugh at religious absurdity!

Paid subscribers get the weirdest Christian comment of the week. It’s $5/month to join, which is roughly the price of a Cheesy Gordita Crunch. You’ll be helping me fight Christian nationalism and fueling my Taco Bell addiction.

I'm in. Let's go!

My fiancee and I took a trip to Washington DC last weekend!

Seeing the Lincoln Memorial in person was incredible.

We watched the sun come up behind the Washington Monument.

Ok, so I didn’t go to the actual White House; I went to the replica. You can see me here, pretending to know what I’m doing, much like our actual president.

I visited the American Humanist Association home office :)

We went to the Capitol but didn’t break in because we’re not morons.

On our way home, we stopped by the President Heads in Virginia. Definitely recommend checking that place out.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t steal the Declaration of Independence, but we did watch National Treasure in our hotel room.

National Treasure 3 is happening. It's happening! | Page 2 | ResetEra

We only stayed for a couple of nights, so we weren’t able to do everything we wanted, but we’ll be back at some point, for sure.

It’s time for 4-3-2-1!

I’ve only been posting regularly on Facebook for a few months, and I’m already at 82k followers. Super grateful for that.

I really appreciate people who follow me at all.

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster.

Wait, that’s Goodfellas.

As far back as I can remember, the only thing I’ve really wanted to do in life is make people laugh. That’s the main goal of the content that I make.

I’ve never claimed to be smart. Nor a theologian.

I don’t care much for debate; I prefer exposing hypocrites and laughing about absurd things.

So, thank you for following and/or interacting with my content.

Chris doesn’t get it.

I’m surprised that he doesn’t have a top fan badge yet, as frequently as he comments on my videos.

I do feel bad for people like Chris because he’ll always exist in his little bubble of fear.

Oh, William, but I do. I do know what Christians think Jesus will be like because they tell me all the time.

They claim to know exactly who he is and what he wants.

I got a very hateful DM from a Christian, and Joey was skeptical:

Dude thinks about gay and trans people a LOT, huh?

Someone check his search history.

I received a very kind email recently:

So brave behind his anonymous email account!

3 Things You Should Know About

1. Mega the Podcast

If you’re following me anywhere, there’s a good chance that you enjoy comedic relief to escape from the religious bullshit that we have to deal with.

Mega is a completely improvised podcast satirizing the world of a fictional mega church. Each week, hosts Holly Laurent and Greg Hess are joined by a guest who plays a character inside the colorful world of Twin Hills Community Church — a “mega church with a tiny family feel.”

Check it out HERE.

2. Unholy Alliances

I recently discovered Elena Trueba on Instagram, and I think she’s making some great content, summarizing what’s happening in the world of Christian Nationalism.

She also has a publication on Substack called Unholy Alliances.

Writing about how fundamentalist Christianity shapes our lives. Words in Religion News Service, Plough, The Revealer, and others. At work on a book about the stay-at-home daughter movement.

3. American Empathy Project

I’ve talked about this before, but I wanted to make sure it’s on your radar!

The American Humanist Association is awarding $100,000 in grants to changemakers across the country who will mobilize their communities with service projects as part of the American Empathy Project (AEP) on Saturday, May 2, 2026. This national day of action will show that empathy is stronger than cruelty and create a ripple effect of compassion and community care.

While the grant application is now closed, there are still ways to get involved! We’re encouraging humanists across the country to put empathy into action on May 2 in whatever form that may take! Sign up on the form above to stay in the loop on volunteer opportunities and check out our project guides for inspiration on hosting your own AEP event.

This borders on the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.

“God” forbid we trust science?

1 Thing to Brighten Your Day

I fucking love comic strips on IG, and Twonks is one of the best!
