Jesus Dropped the Charges!
She didn't say amen...
What’s up, Unfollowers??
Welcome to Holy Nonsense, where we laugh at religious absurdity!
I enjoy scrolling on Threads.
It’s a good mix of cool people and dumb takes.
Like this one:
How convenient, right?
It’s a great commercial for Christianity! Avoid accountability by passing through the Jesus door.
This is why we have people like Russell Brand giving his life to Jesus.
It’s also why Christians deploy the whole “god uses imperfect people” trope.
This way of thinking enables them to compartmentalize.
Trump has said and done terrible things? Who cares? He’s moving our mission forward.
Here’s another gem I saw on Threads:
I’d say she dodged a bullet, and, as you can tell by the ratio, many other people felt the same way.
How insufferable.
This is the first thing it made me think of:
Remember: you don’t need a god to be good.
Until next time!

You have unfollowed Jesus’ followers. If you develop a recipe for banana pudding, you get to decide if it is good. When someone uses your recipe [ because it sounds good ] they may follow it or they may not. They may even believe they are following it. On the other side of the planet someone might substitute persimmons. Could still be good pudding. Might be better if you were raised on persimmons.
This one; “Whoso sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed.” is much older and proven [ widely adhered to ] to make murderers more accountable and society safer than tolerance of wickedness [ opposite of moral ].
I hope you have not unfollowed this moral law that protects all that love peace. I guess what I’m asking is: are you playing the line-drawing-game [ modern morality ] like the others?
