I love food. I eat way too much of it.

This is all the post said:

The AHA treats the support for government policies that bolster the secular foundations of law and culture in the United States as a continuous struggle. They work to defeat proposed legislation and eliminate existing laws that harm the Jeffersonian wall between church and state.

Supporting the AHA helps foster critical thinking and pushes back against theocratic power… without needing a church to do it.

They think I’m trying to negate their religion or tell them that they can’t practice it…

That’s not it at all; I merely don’t want them to elect people like this who say these things:

A great nation wouldn’t threaten genocide in Jesus’ name.
